Credit card for itunes account?

I just got a new ipod shuffle for Christmas along with a $25 itunes card. I downloaded itunes and tried to buy a song and they said I needed to register an account. That process requires entry of credit card information. I don't have a credit card! :( ? Do I need to have one to be able to use itunes?

use your aol e-mail account

then you can reddem it by pressing NO CREDIT CARD

thats what a gift card is for(people without credit cards)

Yes you can either use a gift card or you can get a certificate from coinstar. I convert all my change into iTunes credit-- it's a $5 minimum. It's is not the easiest site to figure out though.

Yes, because incase you don't have anymore money on your itunes card, your gonna need to use your credit card to buy songs.

yea. u need 2 have 1, but u don't necessarily need 2 use it. i had an "all-access" visa credit card (kinda like a gift card) i used that. but, u don't need 2 use it 2 buy things. just go to "redeem" and use your gift card. hope this helps!

Go down and get one of those green dot cards. I tell everyone to get one of those if they don't have or can't get a credit card.

to simply use itunes to manage your music, you shouldnt, but i think in order to access the itunes STORE and buy music, they need your information, just in case you want to buy something. they don't actually do anything with it, unless you buy stuff.

jsut use your parents' and explain to them that its necessary to enter the store but you wont touch their money...
