Fans of Country Music prefer many different styles and stars.
I like the older music from which the new music is an adaptation.
Please listen to some of the older entertainers and you will have a better appreciation of what is happening to Country Music now.
Here's a small list:

Doc Watson - Greatest living guitarist - Reviving very old ballads and love songs

Ernest Tubb - Love songs in the old style - Gone, but not forgotten

Bob Wills - Western Swing (dance music) from the 40s

Asleep at the Wheel - Keeping the older music alive

Merle Haggard - Great ballads - Still making great music

Steve Fromholtz - Newer artist but great writing

Gary P. Nunn - Another new writer - "London Homesick Blues"

Jerry Jeff Walker - Famous for his off-beat comedy and ballads

You might also find an "Americana" radio station online... Here's one... the best DJ is on around 4PM to 7PM Texas time..... I think that's GMT minus 5.

Thanks for having an interest in our beloved music.

There are the old country music singers that I like to listen to such as; Lefty Frizzel, Patsy Cline ( I Fall to Pieces, Walking After Midnight, Crazy, Blue Moon of Kentucky, Sweet Dreams,Always, Crazy Arms). Bob Wills ( Rose of San Antone') Johnny Horton ( North to Alaska, Whispering Pines, Johnny Reb, Honky Tonk Man, The Battle of New Orleans) are only a few of the many old timers that I can think of off the top of my head.
To me some of the other good country artists of the last 20+ years and today are George Strait ( Fool Hearted Melody,Amarillo by Morning, Right or Wrong,The Fireman, Johnny Rodriguez (Ridin' My Thumb to Mexico,Dance With Me, We're Over, You Always Come Back , Just Get Up and Close the Door, Desperado), Rick Trevino (Doctor Time, Just Enough Rope, She Can't Say I Didn't Cry) LeAnn Rimes ( Blue - this song was supposedly written for Patsy Cline who died before she could record it, Hurt Me, My Baby, Talk to Me, I'll Get Even With You,Good Lookin'' Man) , Alan Jackson (Little Bitty, Who's Ceatin' Who, Pop A Top, WWW.Memory, It's Five O'Clock Somewhere), The Dixie Chicks ( I Can Love You Better, Tonight's the Heartache's on Me) and finally Ricky Skaggs ( Crying My Heart Over You, Highway 40 Blues, Honey, Country Boy).
There are lots and lots of country music artists that are really good. Good luck with your love of country music. It is very beautiful at times.

"genuine usa song" comes from usa people sangin and writin songs from their coronary heart. case in point: George Jones, Waylon, Haggard, Coe, Jamey Johnson, Loretta Lynn, Hank Williams; those people had thoughts to tell, and that they could make you experience such as you the place residing that tale as they sang it.
