oh, i don't mean in the summer. that would be really gross, what with all the sweat and dirt and stuff. i shower daily in the summer.

If a person doesn't have offensive odor, it is perfectly fine to shower every other day. Too much showering can really dry out your skin, run up your hot water bill and steam up your bathroom. Ha!

No. For plenty of people, showering every day can make their skin dry, so it's better if they only go every other day.
"Teeming or lice or caked with dirt"? To tell the truth, I don't really think that that's likely to happen to people who only skip a day of showering habitually. If it did, though...then yes, they ought to shower every day!

I shower 4 times a week.
And in the summer i shower 6 times a week.

Actually, shower everyday (unless you've been working hard and working in a health facility) washes away your bodys natural oils. If you are 'too" clean your body can't build up a natural immunity to dirt and bacteria.
So no...it's not "gross" However....going a week with out a bath or shower is pretty gross...

I showered last night. I haven't done anything today except sit in front of this computer. I don't think it will be gross if I go to bed tonight without taking a shower. I live by myself. I haven't seen anyone today and don't expect to. It just depends on the situation.

no. it's unhealthy actually if you shower every day. it dries out you hair, scalp, and skin. and showering every day creates a better chance of lice anyways.

I shower every other day. It's bad for your hair and skin to shower every day. It strips them of the natural oils that they need to keep soft and feeling smooth.

Showering every day makes my skin too dry. I shower every other day. I also work at home, so it's not like I'm outside getting dirty or anything.

Well in the summer it is not necessary but in the winter and other times yeah I do it but in the summer I think its gross.
