There are no problems using one hot water, and one cold water, only when there are two hots being used.

are you on a well? are you on city water ?
theres a pressure regulator at the water meter, or after it some where on the line, or if on a well turn the large screw down, or the regulator,

Do you have old galvanized pipes ?because older galvanized travel lines are 1/2.Now days the travel lines are 3/4 of an inch and to the fixture such as in a bathroom sink tub ect they run them 1/2 inch.Like the other guy said check to see it the hot water valve is fully opened if not get bigger lines.Mineral build up can occur in water lines and rob you of pressure.

check to insure the valve at the water heater is fully open. Other than that, it sounds like the lines are too small.
