It is hard to say. In my immediate family it's probably fifty-fifty. Each of us seems to get as excited about seeing the others open the gifts we gave them open them as we are seeing what we ourselves got. I don't know how many are like us though.

I prefer giving gifts and seeing people enjoy them, but of course I like when people think of me and make me feel special too, just not as much as I like to give the gifts.. I can't speak for anyone else.

I like giving just as much receiving...
It's nice to get stuff, but giving makes me feel so happy, especially when the receiver absolutely loves the gift =]

Giving gifts. Sometimes I make anonymous gifts to people.

I like giving gifts better because, well, i love seeing how happy people are when they open there presents. :] I like getting presents too, but it makes me much happier to give them. :D especially to people i care about. :]

giving and receiving...but giving more because I like to see the person happy, especially if I know for sure they're going to like the gift :)

I prefer to give and in the past found it hard to receive, but a wise, dear, sweetheart of an Aunt told me that when you don't receive as whole heartily as you give, you block the Blessing of the giver, so now I receive graciously. Merry Christmas and God Bless.

both, I love gifts, but there is no better feeling that giving somebody something that they really want....the anticipation of seeing them open it and their face is a great feeling....I almost thing giving is better than receiving,
