I hear a lot of people say " I am soo excited about what i am gonna get this year." But I never hear people say " I am soo excited to give gifts this year and to see the lightened faces of my relative."

DON'T U THINK PEOPLE IN TODAYS SOCIETY ARE CONSIDERING CHRISTMAS, A SEASON OF GETTING MORE THAN GIVING ??

not all people would admit to being excited about what they will be getting...but deep down inside they cant wait to open gifts...i guess during Christmas time...people become like kids and anticipate.....but you are right....it is better to give than to receive...no matter how many times we've heard this...personally im a giver....i even give gifts to people i've stopped working years ago...that's why my husband calls me "Santa Mommy"....

that is true - but where I live, 6 families lost their homes and I live near an orphange so I don't even consider what I am getting this year. I have learnt that you get alot more when you give withoug expectation. That's what I'm teaching my kids - you don't need to be rewarded all the time.
MERRY CHRISTMAS - i'll send you a pic of ham & cake later

I guess there are many that selfishlessly only think of what they will get.

I personally prefer giving and trying to really think of that perfect gift for them.

To me there is absolutelly Nothing like seeing the faces of those you love open up a gift from you that really means something to them or really makes them happy, especially the faces of my babies.

I was happier to see my daughter open her gifts then I was to open mine. She was so happy and all the hugs and kisses and thank yous made it worth all the extra hours I've been putting in at work to make her Christmas a special one. I love giving more then recieving.

Yes. But at a certain age, like when you become a young adult, like 18 and up, you should be more mature and be more excited about giving, rather than receiving.

Sad but true. I prefer to give gifts, I hate getting gifts. I'm the kind of person who will give someone their gift before they are supposed to get it cause I can't wait to see if they like it.

I say I am so excited to give gifts...? Lol.... I hear my family say it too... well, most of them at least.

I usually put alot of effort into thinking about the gifts I will give, so therefore I am always extreemly excited to give them and see the look on their faces!

I was so excied about giving this one gift to my boyfriend I was almost busting out of my jammies to give it to him Christmas morning! Hehe... Needless to say he loved it! I was very happy! :)
