I used to watch reading rainbow in the 1990's when I was in grade school.I always thought that he was Gay. He also appeared gay on Star Trek.Did anyone else get that vibe???

No not at all, I know he is married with a couple of kids and is religious. I have always gotten the vibe that he is a real person and not a 'Hollywood" type. I am sure he could of done more with his career but his family was first. He makes me feel comfortable with him as an actor and person.
