Or you might like the "Liebestod"(Love-Death) from R. Wagner's opera "Tristan und Isolde": but get the orchestral version only, with out the voice(unless you are an opera lover).

Try a cd with a collection of "Adagio" pieces from different compositions. The adagio pieces are mostly sad.
F.i. the adagio from the New World Symphony by A. Dvorak, and other adagio's.
