Its not "All about" his birthday. This is a pagan holiday.
But to raise the levity here. Today (no matter what ones religion) is to promote peace and goodwill to all of mankind no matter what race, sex or creed far too many people these days are filled with hate and I suppose that this day is one that brings many together.

At some point it was the birth of all religious figures.
But now it's all commercialized and everybody has become more and more materialistic and spending less time with family.

I think people seem to forget why we celebrate christmas. Now it's all about - who can get the best deal, shop at the craziest times and give or receive the most gifts....it's crazy.

Open your eyes. It is about getting a new Ipod or computer. It is about your boyfriend dropping $10,000 for a new diamond. It is my belief that we have all been victimized by the advertising media. Honey, our credit cards are maxed out but I still bought you a new car for Christmas.

Nope,it's a commercialized holiday anymore. I'm not religious,but that's what i think of when I think of Christmas.

Though it is a time of year I get to see my one aunt who lives far away. We are very close.
