We have changed the batteries, moved the sensor bar and turned off all the lights in the room. We also went on-line to Nintendo Customer Service and we still cannot get it to work. Any ideas we could try that might help us figure out why this brand new system won't work?

You might need to resync your remote. You can read how to do it in your manual or go to Nintendo support and it will tell you how. :)

That can happen if you sit too close to the screen just try from a different distance.
