The success of whatever you do will depend
somewhat on the material of your slacks and
whether or not the wax is coloured (dyed).
First freeze the slacks; use something like
a knife blade to scrape off as much wax as
you can.
Then place the part of your slacks that
has the wax on it, between two sheets of
material that you can throw away, or paper
(brown paper is good and absorbant).
Apply a gentle heat with an iron - the
wax melts and is soaked up by the disposable
material. You might need to do this several
times - get as much wax melted and soaked
up with paper as you can.
Then treat any remaining stain; probably
caused by dye, with some sort of stain
remover - like Sards. Some are spray on;
some you rub in - any will do; but do it
straight after ironing and get the slacks
into the wash as soon as possible.
Good luck with it.

With Ice or and iron and paper - Place ice on the wax then gently scrape with a table knife to remove for any residual wax simply use plain white paper (like printer paper) place the paper on the wax then apply the iron to the paper. Continue moving the paper until all the wax is absorbed onto the paper.
