That would be a nice thought, but peace for where? It would be also nice to have a target area, country , someones house?

I am reading everyanswer you got and feel bad about your simple request being bashed by many cynics.

I am as cynical as anyone of them but they did not read your question at all. You didnt say peace for a huge problem, but so what if you did?

I still think its a great idea, being Christmas and all. Thanks

Absolutely nothing.
Praying for peace will not bring peace.
You want the current way things are to change into an idea that you hold.
That would require some form of force. You are wishing for some giant magical force to intervene and change the world into your vision of what it would look like as 'peaceful'. The only other way is physical force which is all that has ever been used to gain 'peace'.

How can disruption and force create peace? Isn't something considered 'at peace' when it is no longer moving or changing conditions? How would force bring about this state? How is that state even possible in a constantly changing environment?

Those who 'have' are not willing to give it up to the 'have nots'. That is the never ending obstacle.

to pray for peace doesn´t bring peace.

peace require concrete actions: humans don´t go to war without some reasons, good or bad.

praying is to illude oneself.

don´t take it personal: a lot of persons are the same.

brainwashed by their past.

Praying does not do anything. What would happen if we all started actively working towards peace, now that would get a result!

Praying doesn't produce results. Action produces results. And, whether we like it or not, action means war. We have to use the opposite of what we want to get what we want. Humans are so contradictory.

It would just be useless.
ACT for peace, it is better than praying!

Not much, but what would happen if we actually put down our guns and stopped shooting each other? (of course the pre-requisite for that is to stop hating people with different points of view)

It would be an excercise in futility. Why not pray for victory.
What's wrong with you?
