Because the message of true freedom and constitutional principles resonates loudly with those of us who care about civil liberties and a true Republic. There are more of us then the Polls admit.

According to reuters he is in a virtual tie with Huckabee and Rudy for 3rd in NH. His campaign has come a long way without the usual means of publication. Look for this to continue.

When are Ron Paul groupies going to wake up to what over 90% of people know. He is a dud, looney, has screwy ideas that won't work and wouldn't make it through Congress even if by some miracle he were elected? The media will cover those who are newsworthy. They sell ads and their readership or listeners (viewers) aren't interested in nothing but want real news. Ron Paul is a nothing and thus not worth daily 24/7 coverage as his worshipers would prefer. If he does something worth reproting they will report otherwise he isn't worth much to them. I will be so glad after the primaries because the Ron Paul groupies will go back to their corners and sob their eyes out at the resounding defeat of their god by others.

I don't see him getting that much attention, certainly not as much as he deserves. If you're looking for it, then your going to find lots about him, especially on the Internet. But the mainstream media has largely ignored him, compared to Hitlary, Barack Osama, and Ghouli...

But don't pay attention to the polls, the people who are ahead in the polls rarely win the primaries or caucuses. John Kerry was aroun 4% in Iowa prior to the cacuses.

Because, his hardcore following of internet people have brought his name up, e-mailed every media outlet, and basically forced Ron Paul upon us. Which is how a grassroots campaign should be run. But, the media has given Paul enough attention. He's been on numerous interview shows just last week, and he's on Yahoo news at least once a day. He's not getting more coverage because everyone knows he won't make it in the primaries.

Who is Ron Paul? Green Party candidate?

2007-12-25 14:19:18 · answer #6 · answered by Anonymous · 0 2

Because he is the trendy candidate of the young and dumb of our society who think that they invented politics when THEY became 18 yrs old!
Its like the Clean Gene McCarthy phenomenon of 1968.
"Clean Gene" was the coooool candidate for all those socially concerned antiwar campus political activists. And a couple of months later Booby Kennedy was assainated and everybody forgot about the "way cool" candidate and instead the demos nominated a little potatoe head from Minnasots named Hubert Horatio Humphrey...and he got wiped out by "Tricky Dick" Nixon. Hahahaha!
This is all happening again with Ron Paul. Hahaha

While not a RP supporter, I believe that he is getting attention mostly because folks are just fed up with the others (in this case particularly Republicans, as that is the party he is seeking the nomination from) in the race.

What is he on to? Wanting to kill the Fed and relief funds. Stop fooling yourself. It is sad that the people rooting for Paul are blind to his idiocy and can't even articulate what he stands for.

Also, backing the dollar with gold, as he proposes is like using seashells for currency. Like seashells, gold can not adjust to our economy fast enough; we would be in a constant recession.

PLease, do yourself a favor Paul supporters, read about financial management, how debt is a strategy (not a bad word), and how the fed is the cornerstone of our current economy--please wake up!!!
