I would prefer a conservative Christian fundamentalist like Giuliani; a president who will uphold the sanctity of marriage and eschew divorce.

I think the coalition between the GOP and fundamentalist Christians that began with Reagan is deteriorating. It seems like the mainstream Republican candidates are shying away from the Religious Right this year, and also like Christians are beginning to realize that the -real- agenda of the GOP has nothing to do with 'values', with banning abortion, putting prayer in schools or the 10 Commandments in courtrooms.

Huckabee is the Christian Candidate this time around, but his version of Christianity differs from the Reagan/Falwell/Robertson standard. As he puts it 'another kind of Jesus juice'. 8^)

It's a tough choice for Christians. Giuliani is just -creepy-. Romney is a Mormon (and they believe this is a cult). And Huckabee believes in rights for illegal immigrants and health care for kids. -All- the candidates are seriously flawed. But they have to nominate SOMEONE!

Giuliani is a Dem , he ran as a Democrat before he ran as a republican even his mom agrees with me

"He only became a Republican after he began to get all these jobs from them. He's definitely not a conservative Republican. He thinks he is, but he isn't. He still feels very sorry for the poor." -- Rudy's mother Helen

but your right on huckabee he is definitely fiscally liberal politician

I would suggest that you become a comedian (seriously, I mean no disrespect)

If you ask this question and then answer yourself with your additional comment, I guarantee people will be slapping their thighs. Good luck!

In case you were serious: Huckabee is a Baptist minister, very conservative, while Giuliani's conservatism is questionable at best.

The republican party is the party of Secular Liberals the days. They vote " Conservative " On one or two social issues. Even that they do in a liberal manner.

Mike Huckabee is the least secular and least liberal of all the Republican candidates. Perhaps you are mistaking him with Mitt Romney (formerly pro-choice) or Rudy Giuliani (pro-choice and pro-gun control).
