I choose the funniest,wittiest answers,then go over them by seeing who has the most points,out of those selected.
I give it to the person who has the least most points.
I try being fair and balanced.

No lol I'm looking for help and if the person is flirting and their answer is crap and of no assistant to me, what good is that, I would've just wasted my points. I try choose the best answer and if they are all crap I go with the funniest one.

I tend to pick ones that have nothing to do with the question I ask, or that are the funniest.
i.e:
Question: What's your favorite food?
Answer: 34!

I sometimes give best answer to someone who flirts with me. As long as its not crude or inappropriate. If it is clever and witty, as well as a good answer, then I give it best answer.

The qualifications for a Best Answer is it has to be the 'best' and has to 'answer' the question.

not necessarily not even the funny ones sometimes i have to read answers several times to see who gets closest to the question i asked. i did have one guy who read my profile and based his answer to i'm cold what can i do to warm up. he used all the pets i have and gave me a very creative funny answer so i had to give it to him.
