Question about Dell Latitude C-Series 8X DVD+-RW DVDRW BURNER?

My DVD burner doesnt play dvd movies. It reads it but when i tell it to play dvd's it says, "Error Pl4014: Playback failed due to an error with the audio subsystem. Your currently installed auddio driver may not be fully compatible with DirectX..." I have a Dell Latitude C640.

Step 1 : Try a different plaver like VLC (google finds it)
Step 2 : Once this temp fix HOPEFULLY gets you running contact Dell for updated audio drivers to fix it.
