Dude, you are dripping in joy. Just think how down you'd be if you knew that your girl is cheating on you, your dog has cancer, and yo mama - well, its Christmas, lets not go there.

Bliss and enlightenment are an unattainable phantom. Both are unnecessary as there isn't anything keeping you from being LIFE as you ARE LIFE.
Happiness is just another name for both. You were told that you must be free from some form of bondage or suffering but have no way of knowing what these really are or the 'solution' to find freedom other than what the peddlers of these ideas tell you.

It's a fraud and has always been a money making business.

I imagine you are happier than you realize. The only way to feel the euphoric experience of "happiness" is to experience more pleasure, whether it be a promotion, money, a beautiful woman, etc. and then that would have to be topped, and then that would have to be topped.....etc, etc.

In is in our nature to seek pleasure and happiness- and sometimes we become numb to the things we already have that once made us happy. It is the meditation and reflection on the appreciation for what we have that re-invigorates happiness.

So, if ignorance is bliss, and why arent you happier....well, your not as ignorant as you think. You just need the realization of how happy you are, and not how happy you want to be....

Good Luck!!

some people r happy 'cause they're stupid,it's an available concept
but, when u ignoledge ur ignorance,u r no longer an ignorant, therefore the whole domino falls
so,w're looking at it this way:
either u r incapable of happiness, both in stupidity and intelligence
either u r intelligent, have existential issues and see urself in the imposibility of happiness, because of ur inteligence
either u r stupid and r staring at life to surprise happiness, not knowing that nothing ever really shows up when expected with such intensity,and/or ur happiness may be in things u never saw before,or of which u never thought may consist ur happiness
either u r not smart but not stupid, not good, but not bad,not proud but not humble......in other words, the mediocre type of persone, who has just woken up in the middle age crises
either,u r really unhappy because ur wife left or anything else normal ignorant peple get upset because

i'm not talking from experience,i'm just 17.....but i'm guessing

Great comment.

Ignorance brings mistakes and mistakes bring suffering. So it is not true that ignorance is bliss.

Light overcomes the darkness, so light brings bliss. This resource will explain the "light of life" I am speaking about. That kind of light brings bliss.

Must be because you are not ignorant after all! I could have told you first off if I had been on here earlier to answer.

Because you are aware of the fact that ignorance is bliss so you arent so ignorant anymore.

If you know you're ignorant, you're not ignorant - you're intelligent and if you're intelligent, there's not too much to be happy about now is there?
