Hi and Merry Christmas! My new PC i just got will not sync with my monitor. When i turn on the computer the monitor will not display anything. It acts like it is in sleep mode or somthing. The green and yellow light blinks but nothing is displayed. Please someone assist. Thank you. Much appreciated.

Check cable is firmly attached.
Does monitor show the "initial" screens on power up "the bit that looked like DOS" if so then the monitor is not able to run at the resolution / frequency on the PC display settings, so you need to contact suppler and ask for their assistance in getting the resolution adjusted probably via SAFE MODE.

I assume as it's new probaBLY ON vISTA, AND not UP TO SPEED ON IT

1. New monitors are sometimes defective.
2. More likely, however, either missing/defective drivers, or monitor not plugged in correctly. On some computer towers there are two places to plug in the monitor..often an integrated video card and sometimes an add on video card. Try both.

If your new monitor came with a installation disc you may have to install the drivers.

the blue cable connect it to the moniter is a blue cord that connects the moniter and the pc
