why don't they tell us about it on the news?

every over sea tour is the same they have sex then scream rape it happened in Nam,Afghanistan now Iraq. they coax you in then see what they can get out of you. How come I didn't see this complaint before we went over there yet it happened all the time. some things we shouldn't know about. do you want your children hearing about it in school. if its on the news they will hear about it. why don't you complain about The school giving out rubbers or the new thing allowing girls to have information about the pill in the 4th grade. yes they are ask yours. PS the reason you hear about it at all now more than ever is because they are reaching a point in there new freedom to talk about it instead of being killed or locked up like in Saudi,Iran,etc. think about Mr. president now he and we allow the news to report its called freedom. besides its not rapid as other places you didn't say anything about other places. WHY NOT ???????????

Probably for the same reason anyone else care before the war. It's a public proven fact that one of Udey Hussein's hobbies was to rape young women, like the one he raped on her wedding night after killing her new husband. Afterwards she committed suicide. But hey, the Hussein family members are now *saints* that should have been left in control.....

This activity is not condoned and is prosecuted when found out e.g. there's an upcoming trial for 5 soldiers who raped a 14yr old girl in Iraq and killed her family. They'll have their day in court, will very likely be found guilty and sentenced. We definitely care and don't want this behavior happening. The news certainly covered this case and should cover any more rape issues there.

It's bad publicity for the soldiers and since Bush is all about this war, I don't think the government would so openly state it.
I really do care about what's happening in Iraq with the girls getting raped.
I don't think every soldier does it but it bothers me that some do.
IT's just sickening and more attention needs to go helping these girls.

Women of color getting raped is not criteria for media.
The serbs committed ethnic cleansing and black women are getting killed in Darfur.
