just got a new Verizon LG Chocolate for christmas, and I can recieve calls but not text messages. I don't know why. NOTE: it's a prepaid phone that supports text messaging. please help?

it shouldn't do that. My friend had the same problem, but then it started working. so either wait it out or go to a verizon store.

it appears like possibly the telephone is getting old or for some reason your outgoing textual content textile messages have been blocked. Dial 611 out of your telephone and communicate over with a representative and that they might make it easier to.

That is weird. When I had a prepaid phone years ago I was able to send and receive. Maybe you should go to where you bought it and ask them if it is activated for text.good luck

you should call verizon and activate it. maybe thats the problem.

you have to call the cellphone company that you buy that cellphone!!! that's all
