I'm 35 weeks pregnant and I've been really crampy lately and i don't know if that means labor is coming or what. my breathing has gotten alot easier and that makes me think he has dropped but I'm not sure, what else does it feel like?

thanks and merry christmas

Hahahaa!!! Oh you'll KNOW when he drops! It's like trying to hold a watermelon between your knees! And being crampy at 35 weeks is just because your body is preparing for delivery...most likely braxton hicks. Most women get them...and they usually don't hurt- they're just F***en uncomfortable and annoying. Sorry about that but I've been having them for a while and they are driving me mad!!!

Your breathing can get easier even if the baby changes position at this point but it will probably be at least two weeks more before he drops. If your little one hasn't gone head down yet...then that's probably what you're feeling also.

If your breathing is getting better then yes the baby is dropping and heading for the birth canal. Low back pain and cramping is a part of labor.. best of luck to you and your soon to be little joy!

EDIT: Also if your water doesn't break (like mine didn't) you can still go into labor.. I was on the floor howling like a dog! LOL!

It's easier to breathe. (Your baby is not poking at your ribs as much.) You will also start to feel movement and pressure down there.
