when i play wow sometimes i'll be able to play it for as long as i want and other times it will kick me off the game, like freeze up or lag a lot. i have a pentium d processer, 2 processing cores, 1 GB of ram, an ATI radeon express 200 graphics card, and a pci epress slot. i have the wow video setting turned to its lowest and it still freezes and lags. i was thinking about getting a visionteck radeon 3870, i dont have enough for an 8800 gt. and another GB of ram, but i was wondering which one i should get first, the ram or the graphics card

first thing, get the graphic card but this is not why your getting kicked off. Its your ethernet card, its not able to keep up with your demand, if your doing online gaming get a gig a bit
switch and/or a high performance ethernet adapter.

Hi Most of these reviews http://www.amd.com/us-en/Processors/ProductInformation/0,,30_118_14603_14616%5E14618,00.html say that the 200 is OK, or even good. A PCIe card should be much better for gaming. I would get that first. My opinion.

You can get something like an Nvidia 8400 for less than 50 bucks.

But anyway, I'd say get the video card first.
