I am making light of a sensitive topic here so if you take this question too literally, please lighten up and know that I am posting this question tongue-in-cheek and hope you too may have a sense of humor.

Jamie Lynn Spears, sister of world-famous Brittany Spears, is 16 years old and pregnant now if you haven't been watching this past week's news. Jamie is also a teen sensation and star of the Nicholodeon show "Zoey 101". The producers are contemplating how to deal with the question of teenage pregnancy and MAY dedicate at least one episode to the topic.

ONE episode, I ask? Won't they have to deal with a few more MONTHS of pregnancy than just one episode?

I believe teenage pregnancy to be a VERY big issue, particularly with two teenage daughters myself. I personally believe Nicholodeon has not just an opportunity but a responsibility to address this very important social issue now and that it should not be swept under the carpet as if teenage pregnancy is not a problem.

I examine that Lynne allowed Jamie to have the boyfriend sleep over. IN HER ROOM, and then for the previous 6 months, dumb-a$$ Jamie grow to be residing with him. Hellloooo and what dumb 15 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous doesnt be attentive to the thank you to no longer ward off being pregnant? Hmmm...

she is just living up to the hore status the networks have given all young women.

Everyone seems to think that a show should educate our children about teenage sex and pregnancy, looks like most of you have been drinking the network koolaid. I think it's the parents place to educate their children not some group of writers that work for a network. If you want Nickelodeon to teach you 2 daughters what is right I guess you will expect them to turn out to be like Lynn and Britney as well.

I agree, they sould address the issue a lot more than one episode! It is hard to raise a child at 16, you are still a child yourself. But since Jamie Lynn is who she is, she will get off easy.

I agree that it should be more than one show, but maybe mom and Jamie are thinking about bigger $. She may have follow her sister's steps and have a reality show which pays more coming in the future.

I think they should set an example by kicking her off the show, and letting the teens that watch the show know exactly why!
