i know there is a prose and poetic edda and i want to get a copy of each, but i found many different versions of each for sale in various places. i wanted to know which copy of each to get that is the complete collection and widely accepted as accurate.

I would reccomend the Oxford World's Classics volume for the Poetic Edda, and the Penguin Classics one for the Prose Edda.
