No one ever follows any rules when going into politics. Anyone who does gets trampled over by the ones who don't. Politicians are the lowest, most corrupt form of life on this planet, IMHO.

I see a lot of people mentioning Hillary. What she said about Obama was true. He is inexperienced. He admitted to using drugs. The thing about the essay in kindergarten had to be a joke. Kindergartners can barely write their name, let alone an essay. She is taking a harder hit for her rebuttals because she is a woman. If a man would have said these things, it would have been politics as usual.
The attacks that are lies are the ones I find completely disgusting. These are usually done by activist groups who don't care what they say as long as they get some negative attention against their target. Sometimes they just backfire and hurt the one they are trying to get elected. Its really important to study the background of the candidates from legitimate sources. Candidates who don't fight back are not going to make it. They just have to be above board about it.

Nice guys finishes last.
That is what happened to Hillary about three months when obama and edwards put negative ads & remours on TV and radio against her, while she was silent and keeping saying what she would do for the country, instead of counter attacks. She suffered in poll standings as a result, until she countered abut a month or so ago and her polls are improving.

Ron Paul certainly doesn't believe in rules. Glenn Beck and Russert proved that hatred is quite possibly the only platform he has left. I'm glad to see his little square mustache is well groomed today.

Hillary went quite far being nice. However when Obama started attacking her for remaining cool, calm and others , she chose the path of "Offence is best form of defence". People started crying wolf, while some IA / NH women voters liked the fact that when it comes to hitting back she does it like men.

Te dems let it go too far...........................proven by the simple fact that no Democrat has ever said anthing about the mis-leading intel that got them to approve the invasion of Iraq! Also proven by the fact they allowed the republicans to call them flip=floppers because of it!
Where as the republicans have no problem insinuating the dems are traitors or un-American if they don't support the war in Iraq!

They would certainly be at the top of my list.for liking them as a person ,But if I could not go along with their policies, then I could not vote for them, But I would always admire them ,for being them selves. Merry Christmas Everbody
