Excellent analogy. And let's not forget the way our Warmonger-in-Thief, Bush, spirited bin Laden's family members OUT of the USA to Saudi, **right** after 9/11. They should all have been waterboarded, instead!

US foreign policy hasnt changed much over the last 30 years with Saudi Arabia. Every President, not just Bush... has been in bed with Saudi Arabia... and big oil.
I laugh everytime I read a post that insinuates it is some kind of recent phenomenon.

We need to develop our own renewable energy sources, then pull all our people and all our resources out of the Middle East, then let 'em all kill each other without our intervention. I'm so sick and tired of our tax money being wasted on cr@p for the Middle East when our own people here in the US need health care, education, housing, and transportation!

Pretty good analogy: Oil and Addiction. It's a nasty relationship, not likely to change soon. "Farenheit 9/11" touched on it in significant ways.

That is an accurate analogy and needs to be cleaned up. It can be at the polls in November, be careful who you vote for.
