I asked a question and got a notice because Yahoo said I was chatting. I asked if anyone remembered an old TV show

I never have received any kind of satisfactory response to a challenge. I did [once] get a reply...that's it. One reply. No resolution. No follow through. I have heard of others who've had better luck. But my answer to this question is as far as I can tell there is no satisfaction from trying to deal with customer service over vn's.

I appealed twice... one really was a violation, and one was not. I got my points back for the one that wasn't really a violation. So it does do good to challenge a violation.

No, you are effectively asking someone at Yahoo! to admit they made a mistake, and that will never happen.

Trust me,it doesn't do any good.I've tried it several times, and it was never resolved, and I didn't get my points back.Sometimes, some questions are removed, and people haven't even offended anybody. That's happened to me a couple of times.

I don't think so. I've received several violations for reasons that I felt were unnecessary.

wow....I know what you mean. I got one because all I said was 'I dont know, sorry' as an answer. How is that violating.
I hate to say it...but, yahoo is losing its touch.
