I can mine. You need to look for the washing instruction tag that's sewn onto the blanket. It will let you know.

sure you can but unplug it first, never use an electric blanket on a water bed you could wake up poached

I washed mine in cool water on a gentle cycle and hung it up to dry. It was fine and the directions said to do it this way.
