No, bathing doesn't make a cold any worse. In fact, taking a warm (not hot) bath will relax your body and soothe aching muscles, and the vapor from the water will help break up congestion.

Never, best way to cure is - have it warm.
In Finland, the sauna was thought of as a healing refreshment. The old saying goes: "If booze, tar or the sauna won't help, the illness is fatal." The sauna is seen as a place of healing rather than socialising. The temperature changes of therapeutic sauna can help and this has other benefits as well.It has been shown to aid adaptation, reduce stress hormones, lower blood pressure and improve cardiovascular conditions.

I like a very hot bath and close the door so the steam will build up. Drinking a cup or two of hot chicken broth will not hurt either.

A warm bath will actually be soothing and if it's steamy, it will help open up your sinuses and soothe your bronchial tubes. It will not make your cold worse and will relax you and let you rest more easily.

ofcourse not... that is just a myth... just dont go to the extremes of temperature... too cold or too hot... And because you have a cold you are prone to have infections... so its better to take a bath... just dont take a long time to do it...
