It is Yahoo doing it through a computer program that is set to reject certain words or it is removed by a Yahoo monitor, if it was not posted then another member could not report it?

Some do

But most seem to personalize violations as direct attacks.

I think monitors block questions. I have tried re-posting blocked questions later in the day and they go through. That is a test to separate program blocking from YA monitor blocking

Obviously yahoo has been doing sweep tests with live moderation over the last months. A few months ago it was even worse with questions being delayed till you got just a few answers. I know this still happens a bit but some months ago when they began with this it was much worse. Of course you are right here. If a Q isn't posted there's no way another member reported it and it was an internal yahoo procedure that lead to the violation.

I think they do have a keyword filter that they use to keep certain words out. Some people try to get around this by use of look alike characters.

Yahoo Answers has a very odd way of deleting answers, that many people find very frustrating. It needs to be changed.

i think if you get a lot of violations someone looks at your question before it gets posted. also it may be your internet connection
