i have been working for this company for 3 months. ever since i joined it as a diploma holder from school i have never worked in one position for 3 weeks. like i worked as a stock controller, a petty cashier, an assistant accountant. but the latest development where very demoting.they told me to go and work as a cashier at the bar which i feel very not comfortable with. i resigned. Can i be wrong? should i take back my job as a cashier at the bar. the problem is am a Muslim and this contradicts my faith. please help.

I would advise you to get another job where they do not serve alcohol. They could have fired you for not being willing to take the position as cashier at the bar anyway. I think you were right to stand by your religion and wish you best luck in finding a new position with someone else very soon.

Just go find another job. It's good to stick up for what you believe in. I think in the end, it will get you further in life, and will ultimately, make you a lot happier.

If it contradicts your faith, then no you shouldn't take the other job.

well you should never do anything you feel is wrong and if a manager tries to make you it is not a good work situation so either you should have talked about it or if they were unreasonable left like you chosed to do
