The question, that is not always the case, a person can read other answers and report them if it goes against their ideology, the only way it will stop is for everyone to stop, if you feel insulted or something is against your belief try this IGNORE IT?

At least two people must report it before an answer is removed so it can not just be the person who asked. I do not report answers I disagree with, I either ignore them of give them a thumbs down if they are factually wrong so the asker will know to be wary of a problem with the information.. However I will report answer that are intentionally and offensively insulting when I see them when reading answers. This is a form to exchange information and views, and people who do not know how to express their views without insulting other people should learn. Yahoo answers is often found by search engines by people searching for information so you are not just talking to people here but to everyone in the world.
Edit: The constitution only guarantees that the government will not arrest you for what you say, not that anyone must provide you with a form of that you are not subject to social disapproval. How many of the people who gets their answers removed would say such things if they were indentified and their friends and familly were reading their comments.

I simply don't agree with the rest of your statements but the point you make about who's reporting you and how people always think it's the asker of the Q they got violated over is very legit.
I advocate an end to anonymous reporting. I've been calling for an end to anonymous reporting for over a year because I expect it would expose a lot of the loudest free speech advocates especially on the right as hypocrites and serial bogus reporters.
I'm willing to defend any abuse report I sent in

I tend to only get violations on my questions. I usually figure it's the most abusive answerer--who wants to get rid of the question before someone reports them.
I settle for giving thumbs down to people I don't like.

I am happy to get answers from almost everyone to my questions even if they dont agree with me. I don't like people who don't answer and are there just to insult.
Poor Mel has gotten reported for answering my questions all the time.

Well to be honest Yahoo answers is breaking a Constitutional right of FREE Speech by violating those that give an opinion and deleting their answers unless the content is using bad language.. But to violate someones answer because it is insulting to someone is against the Constitution!
Don't you think it's about time YAHOO gets reviewed themselves for Breaking the Constitution?? I know there is a group of us out here that are presently building a case against Yahoo for this..
I hate when a Company seems to think they by setting up bi-laws that they have the right to break the law of our land.. They don't and it's time THEY get slapped for this.

It gets easier to tell over time if you post on certain askers questions and always seem to get reported when you disagree then it starts becoming obvious who the problem is. Most of the types that do this also make their history private so you can't easily research their prejudices.
