atheistvoices.........no offence to your beliefs but i got kids and love to see there faces on christmas day this is a little heavy on christmas day to those who see it as fun....have a good day anyway :-)

ooooh ooooh ooooh pick me!!!! I have been soooooo good this past year that Santa got me this really funny shirt that says: "If you have something to say please raise your hand........... and put it over your mouth." ha ha ha that is like really funny *sighs contently* well i hope that answers your question. =D.

Even though "Santa" is not a real person. The idea still exists. If you received a present whether it be from a family member, significant other, or even a stranger, to say that Santa gave you a present keeps the "child" in everyone alive. I personally have not believed in Santa since I was young but I make sure to let my kid believe he is alive because the expressions of a child's face on Christmas morning is priceless and there is nothing out there except for the birth of a child, that can top that. if your an adult, you shouldn't be asking this question, but I'm a kid, and you know what, it's pretty fun to believe in Santa. you wake up and four in the morning and you find a bunch of presents. ya, Christmas is awesome

Wow. I'm pretty sure the Asker doesn't really believe in Santa, everyone needs to lighten up.
Anyway.

Teaching children to believe in Santa at least prepares them for when they find out that Jesus is a myth also.
