most people are in between. i'm think i'm 70% introverted, 30% extroverted. some people say that i 'hide in a corner' or that i come across as a loner. it is true that i dont like crowds and i get overwhelmed easily. and i think i'm more sensitive than other people. although i cant see myself without a mirror, i get a feeling that i have a look on my face that says, 'get lost. i dont want to talk to you.' but actually, i just dont really know how to socialize.

When I took training on the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator in Fairfax, Virginia, with Otto Kroeger Associates, I learned that Introversion / Extraversion is a continuum with most people being at one point or another between the two extremes. I am an ISTJ on the Myers-Briggs, but I often exhibit a high degree of Extraversion.

I am perhaps 55% introverted, 45% extraverted.

If one has to interact socially, one can learn to act that way. Introversion is a preference. It is not necessarily a determining factor. That being said, one must look on introversion as a source of mental power for introverts. That is to say, introverts draw their power from inside themselves, and extraverts draw their power from associating with others.

I am an outgoing person, and kind to those that dont quite fit in. I was shy....and stood in the back observing. When I got enough...I just excused myself and left. I watched quietly and learned alot. NOW, look out...I am fun, loud, silly, and enjoy the edge...!!! Give yourself time....Remember this: Robin WIlliams was an introvert......NOT SO NOW......!!!

Introverted when I'm unhappy, and extroverted when I'm happy. These days, fortunately, I'm happy 90% of the time. :)

I come across differently with different people. If they are pleasant and I relate to them - i am an extrovert. I especially dislike smart as* Yankees who act like we Southerners are stupid. I do not relate to them at all. They do not exist as far as relating to them.

I'm very introverted until I get to know you. Then watch out.

I am generally very quiet, until I know someone very well. If I'm amongst people I know very well, I'm the loudest person in the room. It just takes me awhile to get out of my shell I guess.
