yeah but it depends on whether the gum is big or small..i chew trident and i always find it hard to stay on 1 so gotta have two or three!!!

I just gotta have enough for both sides of my mouth or I'll chomp into the empty side of my jaw. One or more.... long as theres enough for both sides.
