I agree! maybe that would be a good Christmas gift to give to those around us..to celebrate the Lord everyday by being thoughtful and kind to those around us, especially those that don't seem to deserve it (like people that seem to have a bad attitude all the time or the whiners and complainers or that nasty neighbor that bothers you all year etc.) Some times by showing a little love and kindness you find out these people really aren't so bad and you help to make you little corner of the world a better place.

We should be helping those in need every day. I think that the reason so many do it on the Christmas holidays, is the spirit of giving comes over them. Not so much when in the norm. But we should help the needy even before we see the hand out asking. Merry Christmas

I don't celebrate holidays because of this reason. I do not feel that one day (or a few days) should be any more special than the rest of the year. I treat everyone the same way each day and cherish family/friends/health.

I do help people every day...I donate to Doctors Beyond Borders every month...but more importantly, I think, I do small things: smile at everyone, give advice to my friends, hold open doors, do anything to make someone's life a little better, someone's day a little better...I think it's often the small things that matter most.

WE NEED TO CELEBRATE THE LORD EVERYDAY OF OUR LIVES.IF WE ALL DID WHAT PEOPLE DO ON CHRISTMAS.THE WORLD WOULD NO DOUBT BE A LOT BETTER PLACE TO LIVE.BUT THEN CHRISTMAS IS A PAGAN HOLIDAY SO WHAT DO YOU EXPECT FROM OTHERS.MOST OF THE WORLD BELIEVES IN THE PAGAN WAYS.AND FORGETS ABOUT CHRIST.THUS FAR WE ALL WILL PAY FOR THAT IN THE END.GLAD I DON;T CELEBRATE THE HOLIDAYS.PEACE TO THE WORLD.

i agree. i think it's great to see people uniting to work for just causes during the holiday season, but it would mean so much more if people put the same amount of effort in showing kindness to eachother every other day as well.
