I am on my computer, and trying to fix something, and it says use hex key. So....what is a hex key, and how am I supposed to use it?? Thanks!!!!!! :):):):

A hex key is a hexadecimal number, or base 16 (most people use base 10, and a computer's inner workings uses base 2).

in hex we have 16 numbers..
0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 A B C D E F in hex
like decimal we have usual 10 numbers..
0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 in decimal
if you need convert from decimal or.. try windows calculator
start - run - calc then view Scientific...
you can type number and change dec or hex or oct.. to convert..
