i brought the acer laptop installed with vista. how can i make the windows recovery cd or dvd?

Acer loads a ton of management help with these. Too much in fact but that is a different issue.
Go to
Start > (All) Programs > Empowering
Technology > Acer eRecovery Management or press the big Green E on the desktop
You can make a DVD or CD's of the system from that console.
