Should i go on to ask and question at Current Events about people who don't have Internet let alone have money to feed themselves. Even this question is pathetic.

Having the internet and having food are different categories. You need to specify your question.Because what im sensing is some self centeredness. That you have been blessed with those things and have not shared any of it with someone that is less fortunate. Now correct me if im wrong.

You feeling pathetic isn't going to help anyone get food or internet. That's very sweet of you - I do the same thing - I went to my daughter's school for her Christmas party, and there was a little girl sitting at a table in the entrance of the school opening 6 or 7 presents - someone had brought them to her, because her name was on the Angel Tree - When I left, I cried and cried in my car just thinking about all the children who don't get Christmas, some not even Christmas dinner. Then I realized that me being sad wasn't feeding anybody and it wasn't changing the fact that some kids don't have Christmas to open. I just have to do something to take my mind off of that stuff - if you don't, you'll stay depressed.

You should cheer up - It's Christmas!! You should try to be happy today for your family Hein!! If they see you unhappy, they will be unhappy!!

Merry Christmas!

When I was a youngster, I used to hear at the supper table when I couldn't eat everything I had put on my plate, "Do you know that people in China are starving?" No I wasn't aware of that fact at the time, but I did wonder how my cleaning my plate was going to help the people in China. Likewise whether you use you Internet service or not the people in the world that are starving will continue to starve.

People don't starve simply because they don't have money. The political and economic infrastructure has to be in place and functioning so that food can be delivered and those starving people can learn to support themselves. Just throwing money at the problems in most cases is never a solution. If your answer to starvation is to collect more taxes so that we can give more to the needy nations, then you should think again. The U.S. has been delivering aid to underprivileged countries for years and there is still starvation. The infrastructure needs to be repaired in most of these countries and that means solving a list of complex problems, but without their solutions people will continue to suffer.

being pathetic is not a physical attribute, it's a frame of mind. You clearly do not want to be pathetic or you wouldn't have bothered to ask this question. Step outside of your overly complicated brain for a moment and go do the things that you really want to do.

Sounds easier said than done? You don't know until you try.

If people fortunate enough to have such benefits as Internet and concerned enough to think of your question DON'T keep communicating their conerns, won't the situation get worse? So, yes, keep at it!

Peace. hope, joy, and all the rest to you! (In other words, Merry Chirstmas!)
