Hi, everyone! Happy Holidays To All of You! I hope all of your holidays turn out to be a very memorable one.

So far, Christmas has been absolutely great. Our teenage son let me sleep until 8:30 am instead of waking me up at 4 or 5 am like he did when he was little. He asked his Dad to wake me up so he could open the big gift box that 'Santa' left for him. Around here, if you don't 'believe,' we tell all of our kids and grandkids that you do not get any presents. Two of our son's friends that live on our street have already come over to visit and check out what 'Santa' gave our son for Christmas and to tell us what goodies they got from 'Santa.'

We had our family over yesterday afternoon and opened gifts with our grown children and our two grandchildren. Our teenage son asked if he could open a couple of gifts (yes, he still gets pretty excited almost like when he was a small, little boy about Christmas Day and all those presents), so we said
okay and decided to let him open up two small gifts. He was like, 'well okay, but I really want the good stuff,' which he knew wasn't getting until we woke up this morning. When our son opened his big gift this morning, he seemed to be happy, plus we had a ton of good food yesterday, we enjoyed being with our older kids and grandkids, and soon our teenager and I will be off to see my mother-in-law and my husband's family for the day, along with more good food. My hubby left all ready to go see his Mom. Finally, our teenage son got his fill of watching the Victoria's Secret Holiday show, so now it is time to start getting ready to go to Grandma's house for a visit with my hubby's side of the family.

I really can't complain about anything so far because all has gone as we planned and it is also wonderful that we did our Christmas Dinner yesterday with our kids and grandkids. So, when we go to Grandma's house, all the food will be ready, and no more cooking will be involved. We can sit back, relax, have a nice visit and a laid back Christmas Day.

Seasons Greetings and Happy Holidays to all of you. I hope your holiday celebrations turn out to be a fantastic as ours has been so far. Best Wishes to All of You!! :-)

Woke up (good I guess), having my coffee (great), someone on here got a marriage proposal (great for her, depressing for me), hoping for a phone call... nothing yet (sad but the days isn't over). So... so far pretty much what I expected.

I've just gotten up. Nothing doing until I leave to go to my neice's for dinner at one. But it is a beautiful day here and well above freezing for a change.

Great, my kids are still asleep and I don't have to see Grambo (my grandmother-in-law) until later in the day.
