"......Because 11% said they had no religious identity at all, and another 2% didn't answer, these results suggest that well more than 9 out of 10 Americans who identify with a religion are Christian in one way or the other."

The liberals are a closed minded bunch of hypocrites, where they don’t mind bashing republicans especially our president, but get offended easily if someone were to challenge their beliefs in the religion of liberalism. I shake off their insults on a daily basis here and move on or answer their questions by presenting the facts. They on the other hand, they can’t get past their snobby and elitist selves, and report questions that are directed against liberalism, because they say it violates yahoo rules. If the exact same question was posed but against conservatives, it would be okay in their little twisted minds.
Merry Christmas…

No if you make anyone "quiet down" that is repression of free speech.

Polls only reflect what the people taking it want it to.
they never tell you for instance how many refused to take part in the questions.
Having answered polls on a couple of issues in the past I can also say they only record the responses as they are in their poll.

In both I responded to there were certain questions I felt strongly about but there was not room for "MY" answer.

Yes, the fact is that the majority of people in the USA are Christian, so the non-Christians should just keep their mouths shut about Nativity scenes on public land, and get in the Christmas spirit. Don't ruin our holiday with all of your secular nonsense, live and let live. Don't be Grinches. Merry Christamas!

Not necessarily. All the poll identifies is what we already knew - the overwhelming majority of Americans are Christian. That doesn't mean the rights of the minorites should be trampled, but it also doesn't mean that we trample the rights of the majority either.
