TheOnlyB, to be honest, I haven't seen a third party worth voting for either but thanks for the suggestion

xo379 I totaly agree with you. It is VERY important to vote. Many men and women have paid the ultimate price so that we COULD vote and trust me I will vote but sometimes you just kinda wanna say" lets spin this again "

I think it's important to vote...your first choice may not actually be nominated, but if you do your research on the people who ARE nominated, you will most likely find someone whose views you agree with. I feel that it's irresponsible not to vote...and if you don't you certainly don't have any right to complain about the person who does become president.

Funny you should mention this idea as it actually was something a presedential candidate wanted to do in 2000. To have a ballot space that said you chose not to vote for Anyone Runnig with your vote. So you can vote not to vote, so you are still heard..Sadly many do not seriously consider any thing outside of the 2 parties. His name was Patrick J Buchanan. Check him out on msnbc doing political commentaries on the days problems.
Patricia, there are Qualified people running for President. There are over a dozen and not all of them are corrupt tools.
Peace, I must disagree. Bill Clinton signed in 1998 a Resolution that made Regime Change in Iraq official Us Policy, that is kind of a Warmongering thing to do.It was called the Iraq Liberation Act and Clinton pressured Congress to pass it. It is cited by many Neo-Cons.

I had a political science professor once who suggested a write in vote. Because you will be still be counted in the percentage of the people who voted but you are making a statement that you don't like the choices you are given. Maybe if enough people did that rather than not going to the polls at all. The parties would get the picture.

They could, but it would take an utterly unbelievable effort on the part of every single voting American to do so... including the candidates themselves.
Every now and then I hear stories about small-town local elections where no one voted except the candidates themselves. One particularly amusing version of this story involves a candidate who did the "honorable" thing and cast his vote for his opponent - only to learn later that he cast the only vote in the district.
But on a national level? Not very likely at all.

Yes, America should do that if these people are not fit to govern and they aren't based on what I can see. Edwards is no sweetheart; Obama is not that bright (a disaster waiting to happen); Hillary is a good choice, if it weren't for international conflicts and wars; Biden is no expert of foreign policy, even if he was chairman for many years; many of your champions are poor contenders with no wisdom or knowledge and they are incapable of solving political problems at hand.
The best person to solve the Iraq War, Afghanistan, and future wars is Bill Clinton. As far as I am concerned, he is the best visible person that I see in our (your) nation. There are a number of good people, behind the scenes, people whom I like, but they too lack the knowledge and experience to solve at hand. Sometimes, though, it takes the collective wisdom of an entire nation and a good and experienced leader to save an entire world and nation.

FIRST EDIT:
Perhaps, you need to scold your candidates and put them to task. You rule and not them. If they REFUSE to answer your questions, put them to task once again. Speak truth! Be an informed public and help others understand the truth. Chastise politicians for their errors and give praise to those who are good. Make know, widely, your findings to the American public and only when candidates are responsible will you have good government!

I believe in Nevada you can vote for 'none of the above'
Maybe if all the states did this the Dems & Repubs would get the message.
Since less than 50% vote now you would think they got the message but they didn't.

Many Democrats total-heartedly have faith that it became the Bush administration that knew approximately and planned for 9/11, and that it became an interior job. in the event that they even have faith that, as many have mentioned publicly that they do, ought to they be finding on the incorrect occasion management in terms of the "interior job", because of the fact that we now understand what many Democrats and their supporters would rather think of and experience on the topic of the USA of a based upon a number of their solutions to your question, and the comments of such dissimilar of them protecting the preacher's perspectives? yet, i do no longer desire to grow to be a conspiracy theorist, so, of path, i'd by no ability individually have faith considered one of those element. yet, whats up, would not the Democratic occasion exceedingly plenty have already got that platform on the topic of the USA of a?

There will probably be a few. With the wrong Republican candidate, I'll pass. I will still vote in our Senate, State and local races.
