I love Lucy, Our little Margie, Father knows best, Bachelor Father, and Our Miss Brooks...........Great shows that portrayed family, with problems to overcome, but always in a light of respect, morality, and togetherness.......Thanks for the memories, and Merry Christmas....

The show was called "My Little Margie"
It starred Gale Storm as Margie Albright. She probably got her fame playing with Roy Rogers.

Topper was a spin from the 30's movies. It ran 53 to 55 on CBS

Yes, I loved those shows. Neal the dog on Topper was my favorite character. How about The Stu Erwin Show and My Little Margie. Our Miss Brooks was great, but I am not sure if it was late 50s or early 60s.

Anne Jeffries and Robert Sterling starred as the young couple in "Topper" along with Leo G. Carroll. I remember the movie version with Cary Grant, Constance Bennett, Roland Young and Billie Burke being shown in one of my classes in high school. The Gale Storm sitcom was "My Little Margie". To me, these were entertaining programs.

I think the first one was called "My Little Margie",and I forgot about it until I saw your question. (sorry, got the title wrong the first submission. Another answerer got it right.)

I used to love Topper! It's about a Brittish man, Cosmo Topper, who died and hung around as a ghost with his ghost dog. They were able to move things - not just go through them. So they created all kinds of funny situations. He had a butler, too; and I remember thinking, "who can afford a butler?!" It was very funny.

I remember them both well; seems like Margie was always trying to bail her father (Vern Albright) out of some sort of dilemma while Leo G. Carroll (Topper) was plagued by the ghosts of a married couple. They were both classic shows!!
