for example when we write a fraction we write the numerator first. then put a line below the numerator and below the numerator wwe write the denominator. Is it possible to write the same thing in computer. when we write 1/2 like this is it any way that it automaically changes into the fractional form as we see in text books

in word there is automatic conversion of 1/2 into a form written as num

You can right click it and ask it to keep it in 1/2 form only.

If you want to write here then there r only 2 ways as follows

Yes,you can download some mathematical software and some special symbol software.

Yes it is
1. turn on you keypad number lock
2. press and hold alt key and using the key pad enter 0188
3. release alt key
alt + 0188 = ¼
alt + 0189 = ½
alt + 0190 = ¾
