Who knows what's really the case. A lot of straight men who have experimented once or twice will never admit to it.

I am convinced that it is a matter of timing more than of gender. If you are somehow confused, bi-curious, let us say before 18, it is likely that you are gonna try being sexual with a man or a woman, in the most strange situations, just to try it out.
After that age, which of course is just an example not a rule of thumb, it is less likely that you are willing to bend your very OWN rules you have sworn to obey.

In most Western cultures it is seem as socially acceptable for women to display bisexual tendencies while this is frowned upon in men. Because of the attitude society has fewer men will experiment in this way than women will.

Generally in several surveys that has been the case. though not by much.

It is more acceptable for girls to"Sleep over" which gives more opportunity for intimacy. Boys are more exciteable more easily but fear of shame puts a damper on the ardor. Once started boys will persue it longer.

I know I have lol. Men think it is weird and are too busy looking at girl on girl action than paying attention to their own gay lives.

Yes, because it is more acceptable for women to have homosexual relationships than it is for men. Mostly because you have men who encourage women to be gay because they have some sort of sick fantasy about it.
