Babies do this, especially when they are around 2 months old. They go days without a poo. It can be alarming but theres nothing wrong.
Offer your baby some cooled boiled water in a bottle, if s/he's constipated this might help.

If this is a change in bowel habit then its something that needs to be watched and considered.
1) If your baby is on formula, maybe try changing the milk.I am not sure how old your baby is but were all of mine got constipated on SMA but were fine on C&G.
2) If your baby is able, feed bowel moving things. Orange juice worked well for mine, but I think its a matter of trial and error. If things dont start to move in the next day or so, I would seek further advice from a professional.
3) Wet nappies are good. However I also wonder if your baby is straining to poo at all. If it is, and its feeling un-comfrotable....vasalene could help the little thing slip out easier.

You left out info....such as how old your child is.....what you have been feeding the baby over the course of a few days. Without that info I strongly suggest you take your baby into the Baby's Doctor to discuss this potentially serious problem with him. Also, consider your use of the English language.
Many things can cause this. Obstructed Bowel Syndrome, Twisted Bowel Syndrome, can cause infections, and be fatal.
My son of 3 weeks old was given by my husband the only time I left the house since he was born, a mixture of Gerber Rice Cereal and milk. (I was Breastfeeding) My Baby Son was allergic to cows milk. My Husband has 3 children by his first wife, and thought he was doing the right thing as the baby was eating every 2 hours and I was completely exhausted. (No one to help with the baby, and C-Sect healing etc) My Son was so constipated for 8 days, that he was to be hospitalized. We tried apple juice, enemas and all the advice from the Doctor to no avail. The baby's are miserable when they are constipated and all they can do is cry....and whine as they have no other way to let us know something is wrong. Shear patience by you is necessary, as hard as it is. His bowels were rock hard when he finally did go...and some blood present from the constitipation. My husband was not left alone with my son again until the baby was nearly 1 year old. I no longer trusted him as a caregiver period. I had gotton wrong info.....RICE is binding, OATMEAL is not. The Oatmeal Cereal would not have caused the constipation. And 3 weeks is too young for a baby to have solid food.
Good Luck with your child.........

My dr had said, if baby is bottle fed, then we should give her a call if she goes with out a poo for three days. Don't have any idea about breast fed babies, but for sue period will be different for them. One thing you can try is rub her back from top to bottom and also massage her tummy. This has always worked for me so far. Also if you are breast feeding, then may be try to include more dietry fiber food in your diet.

Babies can go a few days without poohing especially breastfed babies, dont worry unless your baby is really hurting itself straining to pooh. Try giving your baby some cooled down boiled water, that should help but if not and you really want your baby to 'go' then orange juice would be ok. My health visitor advised me when my baby was 6 weeks old and a little bunged up down there to give him some and he would be fine, she advised 1oz of orange juice mixed with 1oz of cooled down boiled water. If you are still concerened its best to speak to your GP or health visitor.

It's normal for a baby to go 2 days or even longer. As long as they are not straining when having a bm they will be fine. Make sure you have lots of wipes handy!

If it goes to much longer they sell baby inemas at wal-mart, my aunt used them on her grandchildren. My grandma swore by a little bit of kayro syrup. If your baby is old enough the prunes is a good idea, or maybe even some watered down prune juice.
Good luck!

Don't worry, a baby can go up to 7 days without moving its bowels. Especially if they are breastfed. Everybaby is different. As long as the nappys are wet and your baby seems fine, then relax.
