And do you think the guy would totally disrespect you when he sobered up and came to his senses?

It is disrespectful of anyone to get drunk on a date of any kind, with anyone.

I couldn't help but think if a chap did that, perhaps he has a problem with alcohol?

And yes, I think a guy who sobered up would feel less respect for the girl, but mainly because he would have a hard time respecting himself, and would wonder why any decent person would have anything to do with him.

First and last date, I would think, unless sincere and genuine apologies were received.

Cheers :-)

For me it is disrespectful. I grew up living with an alcoholic so I hate seeing people get drunk. Knowing how I feel about it, it's not likely there would even be a second date.

He has to be drunk to have sex? I am sure that happens too much. I'm guessing it isn't a problem for either of the partners while they are in the middle of it.
There is enough disrespect for each other in such a case and the two deserve what they get.
What is nuts is continuing on with getting drunk and having sex, over and over again, especially if you hate yourself in the morning.
There has got to be some learning taking place.
C. :)!!

How would anyone know until > the guy would totally disrespect you when he sobered up and < came to his senses.

What are you blathering on about!

It's like someone asking whether the bit of string, found in the black bag at night, is short, or might it be long?

Short ...in comparison to ....and short for what?

You are, I assume, just looking for a Get our of Jail for Free card.

Isn't it disrespecting to go on a 'sex date' in the first place?

First explain a sex date. Does that mean you went out with the intention of having sex with this person. He would most likely disrespect you drunk or sober. I would hate myself for going on a sex date in the first place, and if he had to be drunk to do it.......ew

what's a "sex date"? A meeting, just for sex? A bloke who was hammered wouldn't be much use- Brewer's Droop, and stinking of booze, is NEVER attractive.

Not my idea of a decent bloke at all, and I wouldn't bother witha man who's too pissed to be good company

As other people have said, if I was on a 'sex date' (whatever that is), the sex would be off if he got that drunk because it would not be fun.

lol... a sex date.
This is a pre negotiated date in which sex is the objective?

Nope...He and he alone, would feel bad when he sobered up in the morning and realized he blew it.
I don't "do" drunks.
I would'nt take it personally...but there would be a loss of respect for him, as I pity people who let controlled substances control their lives!
Happy holidays :)
