how can you simply shrink a cotton tshirt? mines slightly too big and I'd like a smaller, tighter fit.
Can you just tumble dry it at a high temperature? any ideas?

wash on hot and tumble dry. Thats how I have always ended up shrinking my clothes. However, you can never guarantee if or how much its gonna shrink. If youve bought a good top, it may not shrink at all. Good Luck in getting the desired fit.

Wash it in hot water.
Or simply give it away for dry cleaning:)

Boil it in hot water on top of the stove for as long as possible, then dry on hot!

wash in the hottest water possible, that may work.
