there is a saying amongst the women of Alaska ..
the odds are good.. but the goods are odd ..
no the ratio of men to women is pretty even these days ..
alot of us men had to go out side and import quality women to the country ..though this holiday season the glassblower is running solo ..just broke up with the ex ....the poor little rich girl thing got old .but that's ok ..meet up with this interesting young barrister to be and we've started to flirt a bit ... hope she stops by the glass shop soon and spends.an afternoon watching master play with glass... smooth and flowing almost a dance.. the way the material works at the hands of one who loves it so ..
the poetry of the motion.. flowing and free ..just a man working creating .expressive artistry ..molten glass.. so soft .
moving with gravity ..finding it's form.. allowing motion to be it;s guide ..the relationship of craftsman and material ..
truly a gift for both to share, on Christmas morn ....oh do hope she stops by to visit ..perhaps put her to work ...playing with the glass ...would be a fun way to spend Christmas day.. with a new found friend ..peace out ...
maybe she will call...a glassblowers thoughts on Christmas morn ..peace on earth for all creatures large and small ...

You ever seen some of those guys in Alaska??? If you know what "roughing it in the wilderness" is like, a lot of those guys are Mountain Men........"modern day hermits"............
That myth was perpetuated during the time that the Alaska Pipeline was being constructed.......the pay back then was great, but the work was ball busting......I knew a lady that moved to Alaska back then to be a stripper (go figure!!) and we never heard from her again......YIKES!!!!

Yes - men outnumber women by 10 to 1 in Alaska - and poor old Flossie Jones, aged 47, is still a virgin!

Not even close to true, sorry. 107 men for every 100 women. See page 41 of this report from the Institute for Women's Policy Research.

Yes and no. The women in Alaska are so darn ugly, that most men dont consider them women anyway. You should see what eating seal blubber all day can do to a woman's figure.

Check the state's population stats, I do not think it current.
P.S. If you want 100% male population go visit a prison, it's not heaven either, Quality matters alot.
