doesnt it get annoying when someone answers your question with one word answers like "yes" "no" or something stupid like that. or when your asking something serious.. for example.. i was asking advice on losing weight.... someone answers cut calories and exercise... umm duhh.... it gets soo annoying. i wish we could pick who gets points period. even if it is just 2 points i should get to chose who made the effort!!

i would rather get an answer where someone doesnt agree with me instead of sarcastic ones just posting something to get points. when i read a question and i have nothing valid to say i skip it. i just wished others did that.

I don't think we're in P&S necessarily to have something intelligent to say. I'm just here to have a good time and hopefully make someone out there smile, even just a little upturn of the lips. And remember, it was Yahoo's idea to make each answer carry a point value. Ingenious if you ask me. The person who thought of it should get a million dollar bonus.

I think that some people are bored, and just want their 2 points just like you said. I think that the majority of people on Y!A really want to help each other, and that 10 points for best answer is a just and flexible reward controlled by the asker for those people who truly have taken their time to answer intelligently.

NO! YOU shouldn't get to pick who gets points
you get to pick who gets best, if people make an EFFORT to answer then they should get points. if you dont like their answer, then deal with it
